College Football Notice!
College football weekends are some of the busiest travel periods of the year for many regional airports, with significantly increased private aircraft traffic beginning before the game and continuing through post-game departures. If you’re flying with us for a football weekend—particularly for a same-day round trip—please be aware that heavy aircraft traffic, limited parking and fuel, temporary airport restrictions, and ATC delays can affect both arrival and departure times. Many of these conditions are outside of Capital Air Express’s control and can change with little notice.
We’ve experienced this firsthand. During a recent Ole Miss–LSU weekend in Oxford, the airport had no fuel or overnight parking available, requiring us to tanker in fuel and reposition the aircraft overnight. The following day, heavy traffic resulted in an ATC ground delay and ultimately a diversion to another airport—even with perfectly good weather.
We’ll always do everything we can to keep your trip moving smoothly, but on college football weekends, please pack a little extra patience along with your team colors. Build some flexibility into your plans and know that delays are possible—particularly when hundreds of aircraft are trying to arrive or leave the same airport at roughly the same time.

Our headquarters is located in beautiful Peachtree City, GA, just outside of Atlanta. We are an on-demand, unscheduled charter operator, so we can fly wherever we’re called but primarily service the southern United States and the Bahamas.
