Andrew Anderson
President & Director of Operations
Andrew is the President and Director of Operations for Capital Air Express, with over 20 years in the Aviation Industry specializing in Aviation Safety and over 2,000 hours as a commercial pilot. Andrew graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, FL.
Zacharia McKen
Chief Pilot
Zach is our Chief Pilot and has over 1,000 hours in the Malibu and Saratoga and 2,000 hours total flight time. He is also a CFII and manages initial and recurrent training for our pilot team.
Pete Anderson
VP of Risk Management
Pete Anderson brings 37 years of extensive experience in commercial insurance and risk management. Pete holds an Associate in Risk Management, specializing in providing tailored insurance solutions for the aviation industry. His vast knowledge and experience in risk management make him a vital asset to Capital Air Express, ensuring comprehensive coverage and risk mitigation strategies.
Rebecca Anderson
VP of Business Development
Rebecca Anderson brings 20 years of experience in retail operations management and customer service leadership. Rebecca graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies. Her extensive background in operations and customer service, combined with her leadership skills, make her an invaluable asset to Capital Air Express.

Pilots
Our pilots are the face of Capital Air Express in the cockpit and an important part of the experience we provide on the ground, too. Every pilot goes through our hiring, screening, and training process before flying our customers and continues to train throughout their time with us. Because our pilots are full-time members of the Capital Air team, they work closely with Operations and Maintenance, know our aircraft and procedures, and are supported by the same team before, during, and after every flight.

Sales
Our Sales team is often your first introduction to Capital Air Express. They help new and returning customers understand how our service works, determine whether our aircraft are a good fit for their travel needs, prepare quotes, and explain options like retail charter and block time. Their goal isn’t simply to book a flight—it’s to understand how you plan to travel and help you get the most out of flying with us.
Operations
Operations is where the moving pieces of every flight come together. Our Operations team works behind the scenes with pilots, Scheduling, Maintenance, airports, and other service providers to make sure each trip can be completed safely and successfully. They monitor weather, aircraft availability, crew duty times, airport and runway considerations, and the many other factors that can affect a flight—both while it’s being planned and on the day you travel.
Scheduling
Once you’re ready to fly, our Scheduling team brings the details together. They coordinate your flight requests, passenger and luggage information, airport logistics, aircraft availability, and timing while working closely with Operations and our pilots. They’re also the real people behind our booking app, reviewing each request and communicating with you when adjustments or additional information are needed.
Maintenance
Our aircraft are supported in-house by our sister company, Base Leg Maintenance. The Maintenance team knows our fleet exceptionally well and works closely with Capital Air Express Operations and flight crews to keep our aircraft safe, reliable, and ready to fly. From routine inspections and preventive maintenance to troubleshooting and repairs, having our maintenance team right here gives us direct visibility into the condition of our aircraft and keeps communication between Maintenance and Operations close.
